Great little accommodation. Nearly 2 miles and 1000 feet down from PW, but one of the only options to break the 29 miles into 2. Nice homemade evening meal, breakfast and packed lunch. Big comfy beds. Big comfy bath. Priority use of lounge and main television in the evening courtesy of proprietors.

We stayed at the first one (out of Byrness) in August 2007. Had a wonderful tranquil evening with wild goats and a stunning sunset! Also water available from a stream just a couple of hundred yards away.

Alternatively contact Joyce at Byrness hostel as she will collect you from Chew Green area to shorten the last day puttinf KY within reasonable reach..
