Picking up on a thread in the C2C section on rubbish, I thought I'd start a picture thread on the worst examples of rubbish you've seen on a walk.

Here's my first offering.... Please reply to this thread with your submissions

Found on Skye, at the foot of a beautiful hill. Next to a farm access road.

I don't take many photo's of rubbish but I must admit I come across plenty of it and sometimes in such remote places you wonder why the idiots who dump the rubbish take so much time and effort to dump it in such places - it would be easier to day it to a dumpit site but then of course some of them would have to pay!!.

I take a few photo's of aircraft debris that I find on the hills sadly there are quite a few on the Manchester side of the Pennies e.g. around Shelf stones and several around Dovestone and Chew.

I think I started a thread on rubbish early last year. The idea was if I do the Coast to Coast....one planned for 2009. Is to pick up any litter (not tyres) such as crisp packets, cans, bottles etc. take photos, log them into a diary and post this on the WP forum. Not forgetting to dispose of the litter in a bin.

Well i think most of you readers know where this is.

And this was actually my biggest disappointment on the entire route not a nice passage as i had imagined.
It was just a fence and rubble and dirt and nothing romantic cool or need or interesting.

And i think this point on the route deserves so much better.

Anyone know when, and why, Wainwright Passage was "closed"?
