Hello Mike and welcome to the forum.

I've followed your blog and your writings for go4awalk for a while now and it's great to finally "meet" you.

You're April Fool's joke was all the funnier for being believable :)

Cheers Lonewalker (one of your sheep is quite pretty by the way...)
Its nice to know that somebody out there reads the drivel dribbling from this keyboard - I've noticed a few "regular" readers but its hard to put names to computer referrals. Hopefully, I'll occasionally be able to contribute something vaguely sensible to the forum. (Specially info about the North pennines - Teesdale/Weardale/Tynedale) - so the Northern bits of the Pennine Way and the Swaledale bits of the Coast to Coast paths (Not a fan of the North Yorks Moors)
I first need to read the stuff about how to post pictures - then I'm away!

Hello Yomper - superdawg's just grand - just starting to moult I think...
He thinks the snow is fabulous - we've been a bit stuck with local walks because the roads locally have been 'orrible, to be frank - impossible to get over the Pennines, and the only time I managed it, I couldnt get back. (A66 closed for five days)
And the snow was blck deep as well, which doesnt make for easy progress.
But its melting just now.
We're having a crack at Wensleydale tommorrow....if the road's not flooded.

Our westie - Bobby played in the snow too, most of the snow has gone now, replaced with heavy rain showers

Hoping to get out to the Peak District in a couple of weeks
