Hi--

Just back from a pathetic little training walk around town (I got seriously out of shape after my 2007 C2C), and remembered that I can set a consistent 60 paces per minute by using either "Stars and Stripes Forever" or "Colonel Bogey" as my musical metronome.

Better still, they both have stupid unofficial words which cheer me up:
"Be kind to your web-footed friends" vs. "Hitler has only got one ball."

Music from the eastern side of the pond (and memories of Alec Guinness in "Bridge over the River Kwai") got me going today. Next time, E-W, I'll plug them both in on Kidsty Pike.
