Three Sentry Boxes

I stumbled across these on a walk today - not telling you where obviously

They are beautifully crafted and obviously quite recent. I'm guessing they are some sort of "art" installation - they serve little purpose as shelters as you can't sit down in them, they are tall enough for me to stand it - just but with a full pack on my belly was sticking out the front

I saw two very old ramshackled ones like these on Shelf Benches above Glossop and I saw a larger one on Pendle Hill. There was some talk about some new ones on Pendle Hill so my wild guess would be Pendle Hill.

I would say they must be up on the Pennines, and I'm going to plump for the Yorkshire side , but no idea where :?:

Well I could see Pendle Hill on part of this walk, but not close enough to award the cigar I'm afraid

These are on the eastern side of Clougha Pike, beside the 4WD shooters track in a disused quarry. They really are lovely.
