I was thinking of a hill in Bilsdale, North Yorkshire.

Is it Lose Hill? At the end of the Great Ridge?
You'd be at the far eastern end of the Kinder plateau - perhaps near the Druid's Stone?

Spot on with lose hill and Druid's stone.
We get beautiful views over the hope valley on good days, the walk its self is from
Edale, along Howden Reservoir then the Cut Gate Path and into Penistone, about 20miles.
