No, but it is very bleak terrain. I'll give you a clue, if you walk the Pennine Way but did the alternative route, you would pass this rock.

No, but I give another clue. You could pop in to this hamlet for a drink near the Cleveland Way of the same name.

I've definately been there and I thought it was part of Laddow Rocks but obviously not - therefore it could be Wain Stones near Bleaklow?

No, again too far South of the Pennine Way. If I said there is gold in the hills of the North Pennines and before you reach a lot of water. That will give it away :wink:

I will give the answer, that the rock outcrop
is Goldsborough Carr.
Which is on the alternative route
from Bowes to Baldersdale.
