If you have done the Coast to Coast, this should be easy. Although lately the building is in a bit of a sorry state.

Is it Brecken Hill?

If we're thinking of the right place it is indeed a ruin nowadays!

Well done, gleavem. It is indeed Brecken Hill on mile 138.5 and how one gets excited at the next gem of the walk
"The North Yorkshire Moors".

Here is one of the ruin when I did from Richmond to Ingleby Cross last year.

I'm racking my brains - but I don't remember seeing this on my trip.
I must have sleepwalked this section :)

I'm not surprised you were sleep-walking, not the most exciting bit of Coast to Coast.
Apart from crossing the busy A19, which reminds me of the retro video game "Frogger". :(

Yeah!!!! Well chuffed I got that right...I've never stood a chance with any of the others!

It looks even more of a ruin now, and very overgrown!

For us the 23 flat miles from Richmond to Park House were probably the toughest of the whole walk, both psychologically and physically. All those flat not very exciting miles certainly took its toll on our legs and our spirits

I may try posting a pic of my own when I get time...watch this space!
